for adventures in homeschooling

Live. Explore. Learn.

DARE TO MAKE YOUR OWN MAP

What if...

What if school could be as simple, as inspiring and meaningful as living life? Imagine if education was the nonlinear process of inviting younger generations into a richer experience of the world.

How would your life be different?
Essence before form. What if school made you feel more like this?
We were born to learn.

Be inspired.

Life is already full of awe, wonder and possibility; we just forget. Everything is an opportunity to learn.

What we need to learn most is how to keep our curiosity alive.
"Tell me and I'll forget.
Show me and I may remember.
Involve me and I'll understand."

LIVE

Life is best lived with others in community. Online is good. In person & unplugged is better yet.
EXPLORE

We are developing a podcast, led by the curiosity of a child and supported with the practicality of an adult.
LEARN

Follow along with the experiments we try out and the lessons we learn on our homeschooling adventures.
We can best help children learn, not by deciding what we think they should learn and thinking of ingenious ways to teach it to them, but by making the world, as far as we can, accessible to them, paying serious attention to what they do, answering their questions  if they have any  and helping them explore the things they are most interested in.

Reimagine Life is a cooperative community platform for homeschooling families to share adventures in self-guided learning and respectful parenting.

Help us shape the future. The picture we're creating isn't complete without you.

The goal is to develop a network of contributing authors and separate leadership team to head up supportive online activities and collaborative in-person meet-ups.

We also are working on a podcast.
